Editorial Policy
CryptoRiskCalc publishes trading calculators and educational guides for crypto futures risk management. This page explains how we create, review, and update that content before it is shown to readers.
How We Create Content
Our guides are written for traders who need practical risk-management decisions before opening a position. We prioritize original explanations, calculator examples, exchange-specific notes, and clear limitations instead of generic market commentary.
Calculator Methodology
Position sizing, liquidation, margin, profit/loss, and risk/reward calculations are implemented with Decimal.js to reduce floating-point errors. Formula changes are reviewed against known exchange mechanics and covered by automated tests when behavior can be isolated.
Sources and Update Cadence
Exchange fees, contract assumptions, and funding-rate explanations are checked against official exchange documentation whenever possible. Educational pages are reviewed at least quarterly, and sooner when exchange rules, fee schedules, or calculator behavior changes.
Corrections, Ads, and Affiliates
If we find an error, we correct the affected page and prioritize calculation issues first. CryptoRiskCalc may earn revenue from ads or affiliate links, but monetization does not change calculator results, exchange fee assumptions, or educational recommendations. We do not provide financial advice or trading signals.
Report a Correction
If you believe a formula, fee rate, translation, or article is wrong, send the page URL, the exact inputs or claim, and the expected correction through our contact page.
